INSIDE THE HOME

This home was built in 2000 and is a smart home with a state of the art security system. The home is built on 75 piers and has a Vermont slate roof. 

With over 10,000 square feet of living space the home includes 5 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms(7 full baths and 3 half baths), and much more. A grand entry foyer featuring a winding floating staircase with carpet that is the same pattern as carpet on the Titanic. The same company that made the carpet for the Titanic made this carpet.

The entry way is bright and inviting with inlaid glass doors and windows that cover two stories. As you walk through the other rooms on the first floor you find the library with floor to ceiling paneling and Brazilian cherry wood flooring. The library is also equipped with a wet bar and a wood burning fireplace. The spiral staircase leads you to the wine cellar that also serves as a tornado shelter.

The wine cellar/tornado safe place is accessible from the library and from the Master Suite. This cellar is filled with wines and menus from all over the world that the owners have collected during their travels. The cellar has brick walls, barrel ceiling and soft lighting. 

The formal dining room has a mirrored wall which beautifully reflects the crystal chandelier.

Massive columns of solid marble from Mexico invite you into the formal living room with beautiful views of the back patio and pool. The stunning carved marble fireplace provides comfort and coziness to the room.

The kitchen is designed with antiqued finished cabinets, custom tile work, and a mantle over the stove. Everyday cooks, as well as professional chefs, will appreciate the numerous features found in the kitchen including a preparation sink in the island, a built-in steamer, double ovens, dual refrigerators plus a wine chiller, two pantries, and many other decorative and useful features like the cookbook shelves and plate racks.

Again, you have a beautiful view of the pool from the breakfast room and the den. You will not want to miss the recessed salt water aquarium in the den as well. 

Before you head up the magnificent stairway you will want to take a peek at the guest bedroom and the full gym with it's own bathroom equipped with a dry and wet sauna. 

Upstairs you will want to stop and admire the commissioned art work of the property hanging on the landing before entering the Master Suite.

The Master Suite is nothing more than breathtaking. The views from the private balcony and the celestial mural in the ceiling dome make this a one of a kind. There are baths for him and her and both are filled with amazing features. His has an oversized shower and raised bath tub with views of the ranch out the windows. Her bath includes a cozy fireplace and a massive vanity.

There are three other bedrooms upstairs plus a game room and media room. The game room has a walk in wet bar and balcony overlooking the lake. The theater room has state of the art equipment and comfortably seating.

Finally the third floor includes an office.
